Take control of your healing during cancer treatment with evidence-based dietary, lifestyle, and holistic healing protocols that target your specific cancer type.

Designed to help you optimize treatment outcomes, reduce side effects of cancer treatments, and support recovery.

You will receive evidence-based guidelines for dietary, lifestyle, and holistic healing interventions to help you build a body that is resistant to cancer while helping you to better manage and recover from treatment.

I will work with you to navigate your cancer treatment and create an individualized care plan with nurturing support every step of the way.

  • Six one-on-one nutrition coaching sessions (offered in-person or virtually) 
  • Six one-on-one breath work sessions with Sahej Bhatia, Breathwork Facilitator (offered in-person or virtually)

In your nutrition coaching sessions, you will learn how to: 

  • Know what to eat before, during, and after treatment to optimize healing and recovery
  • Optimize your body’s natural defenses to help combat cancer and improve overall health

  • Enhance the effectiveness of your medical treatments

In your breathwork coaching sessions, you will learn how to: 

  •  Dive into the art of conscious breathing

  • How to shift into the  parasympathetic state of your nervous system, which promotes healing  

 

WHY NUTRITIONAL THERAPY MUST BE A PART OF CANCER TREATMENT

Not all cancers require the same dietary interventions, and nutrient requirements during cancer treatment may change. It is critical that an individual’s specific dietary requirements are assessed and addressed on an ongoing basis. The inclusion of specific food choices and the educated use of supplements assures individuals with cancer that their nutritional needs are met and that their body’s natural defense mechanisms are optimized.

WHY BREATHWORK MEDICINE SHOULD BE A PART OF CANCER TREATMENT

Breathwork is a guided conscious breathing practice that brings us into a deeper connection with our body, where we can feel and release stored tension and emotions.  This simple powerful practice can result in profound and dramatic healing in many forms. 

Profound evidence shows that proper breathing can improve cancer-related pain and stress. Through breathwork, an improvement in quality of life can also be found. 

 

Sustained and repeated practice has been shown to:

  • Reduce stress and anxiety
  • Increase feelings of safety, joy, and empowerment
  • Improve sleep quality and reduce sleep disturbances 
  • Create an emotional anchor within the body
  • Improves emotional stability offering a sanctuary for navigating life's challenges

What to expect in your nutrition sessions:

  • Over a 3-month period, you will meet with Hanna  every two weeks (6 sessions in total) 
  • The initial consultation is 90 minutes long during which we do an in-depth health and lifestyle history, identify your needs, and set goals.
  • The following five sessions are 60 minutes in length
  • You receive a protocol which includes dietary, supplement, lifestyle, and holistic healing  recommendations. These are sent to you via email within three business days.
  • You have access to my email for questions in between your appointments.
  • After we have completed your program, we will assess your progress and what level of support you may need going forward.  You may feel like you have all the tools you need, or you may still value my guidance and support for the next phase of your health journey.

 

What to expect in your breathwork sessions:

  • Breathwork is an embodied experience guided by a trained Breathwork Facilitator.
  • Over a 3-month period, you will meet with Sahej every two weeks (6 sessions in total) in a one-on-one private and safe container either in person or virtually.
  • Breathwork sessions are 75 minutes long. Great care is taken to make sure you are comfortable by using blankets, cushions, bolsters etc. 
  • Sessions are accompanied by gentle music you are then guided into the practice. 

  •  Each breathwork experience is unique and offers its own healing to you by helping you move through stored traumas, tensions, patterns in your body. 

  • The session ends with an integrative portion where you can connect with the body, allowing the body's innate wisdom to  offer its healing medicine to you.
