3 Month Program
Using Diet and Lifestyle to Restore Your Health after Cancer Treatment
An individualized coaching program designed to help you restore your health, transform your life, and regain confidence around food choices after cancer treatment. Over four one on one sessions, you will learn how to prepare nutrient-dense, cancer-fighting meals that the whole family can enjoy with a meal plan, shopping list, recipe package, and more! You will receive evidence-based guidelines on dietary and lifestyle interventions to enhance recovery, restore health, and reduce the risk of disease recurrence.
Cancer survivors face multiple diet-related challenges, including an increased risk of cancer recurrence, the development of a secondary cancer, cardiovascular disease, and type 2 diabetes. Research suggests that a healthy lifestyle can suppress the development of many cancers, prevent disease recurrence, as well as reduce the risk of other chronic diseases. This includes proper nutrition, weight control, and physical activity.
I work with you to create an individualized nutrition and lifestyle plan after cancer treatment with nurturing support and guidance every step of the way.
WHY NUTRITIONAL THERAPY MUST BE A PART OF ANY SURVIVORSHIP CARE PLAN
Not all cancer survivors have the same dietary needs, and nutrient requirements after cancer treatment may change. It is therefore critical that an individual’s specific dietary requirements are assessed and addressed on an ongoing basis. The inclusion of specific foods and the educated use of supplements assures individuals whose cancer is in remission that their nutritional needs are met and enhances their body’s natural defense mechanisms to help prevent disease recurrence.
